Hand in Hand, together with the GSRD Foundation, provides vocational training to thousands of women living in India. The objective of the vocational training is to generate social inclusiveness and provide socially and economically vulnerable groups, especially young females, a chance to be part of the mainstream economy.

Hand in Hand's vocational training is intended for young women that are either unemployed or underemployed. Throughout this project women acquire new skills or improve current skills, helping them gain employment or create their own income through micro-enterprises. Vocational training will give them practical and relevant workplace skills combined with theoretical knowledge. In addition to the vocational training, Hand in Hand directly links the participants to local industry.
